1996 - Key To The City Award: Myrtle Beach, SC

Awarded the Key to Myrtle Beach for my work directing the ESPN/SSA team documenting the BeachBall Classic for three years. The BeachBall Classic is a prestigious annual national high school basketball tournament. SSA gave national attention to then high school stars, Kobe Bryant, Baron Davis, and Tim Thomas... to name a few. The Key sits, unceremoniously, in my closet and I am not sure what it will unlock, but one of these days will return and give it a try.
